Transfer Admission Examination is for those who wish to transfer to the second or third year of study at the University. The examination is administered in conjunction with the spring (April admission) and fall (September admission) admission periods. The selection of applicants will be made based on a comprehensive judgment based on the submitted documents (language proficiency, statement of reasons for application, letter of recommendation, grades while enrolled at university, etc.), the results of the English essay test, and the interview.

Application Procedure

The completed documents must arrive at AIU by the close of the last day of the application period. Please write on the envelope in red: “Applicant Materials for International Student Enclosed.” Send the documents to AIU by registered, special delivery mail. Overseas posts must also be registered and sent by air. Regarding the application procedure, please follow the instructions for “Online Application Procedure” on the Admission Guide.
