The difficulty may come from the vocabulary levels, grammatical items targeted, or material designs in terms of the use for one whole year. Through comparing teaching materials in Japan with those from other countries, students are asked to find their viewpoints in designing their own materials for actual use in their classrooms. At the end of the course, students are required to present their teaching materials developed from the textbooks they use for their actual teaching. The key words in this course are “feasibility” and “sustainability.”
